The puppy in my default icon and featured in my header is a character of mine. Her name is Flight. She's my baby.

I've got several novel-length story ideas drifting around in my head and I'm in the process of writing two. I specialize in writing science-fiction, but I love fantasy as well. I spend most of my free time writing, reading, playing video games and drawing (when I'm not surfing the internet, that is).

I'm big into Resident Evil, Transformers, Star Trek XI, Star Trek TOS, Iron Man, Fables, Deadpool, X-Men, Green Lantern, and Tangled right now, but I do dabble in a number of other fandoms and there are few things I won't try at least once.

I believe in playing nice and fostering open, civil discussion, and I've found that sometimes we learn best through talking to each other. In that vein, I try my hardest to be as active a commenter as possible. While I certainly don't ask the same in return, I do ask that you forgive me if I don't comment on everything - despite being a rather verbose person, I sometimes find myself at a loss for just the right words to say. Also, let's face it, sometimes life just gets in the way.

You can expect to find ramblings of all sorts here: fandom, real life, fic, origific, book reviews, television reviews, meta, etc. I currently have a roughly 50/50 friends-locked policy, which basically means that personal stuff - school, my family, original fiction, etc. - gets f'locked. But fandom stuff - reviews, discussions, meta, squeeing, fangirling, etc. - are public posts.

Feel free to friend me if you want, I'm always excited to meet new people!
